| The
inspiration for this box came from a plate my grandmother gave me, that her mother
gave her, that I accidentally broke. I glued the plate back together, and decided
to make a protective container for it. The idea for this container is derived
from layering memory. The container holds several interlocking layers of boxes
that reveal an opening within the container as they are removed. One of these
boxes is specially designed to hold the plate. |
